FromJune 22nd 2012, the slopes belong to all who rise early. From 7:15am to 1pm, meet up on the 20 Kilometres of runs at Grande Motte glacier, located at an altitude ranging from 3,000 to 3,456 metres.
7 minutes to skiing enjoyment
Since March 1993, Perce Neige funicular offers a lift from the heart of Tignes. Located at an altitude of 2,100 metres – at the foot of the 3,000-metre glacier – it will transport you in a record time of 7 minutes!
At the glacier, a spectacular sight awaits you! Survey a 360° panorama of all of Savoy and the nearby mountains:
- Mont Pourri
- Ridges of Grande Sassière
- Grande Casse (highest point of La Vanoise: altitude of 3,856 metres)
- Majestic Mont Blanc range (in the distance)

Ski runs are open from 7.15am-1pm daily, since June 22nd 2012.
Tignes' summer ski school
Progressing from snow ploughing to parallel skiing is just a matter of turning. Learn at your own pace to be ready to go freeride skiing next winter!

Tignes' summer snowpark
At an altitude of 3,456 metres, meet up on the glacier with freestylers, pros and amateurs for summer snowboarding and skiing.
The atmosphere is outrageous. Unzip your polar fleece jacket to ride to the rhythm of thumping music!

And for the lunch
At the top of the funicular, we suggest you taking your lunch indoor or on the terrace of Panoramic. You can also quench thirst thanks to the bar and take advantage of transats and of the view!

AKDMY organizes sports summer camps for those looking for the big thrill. Choose your sports: freestyle skiing or snowboarding, DH. Every afternoon: skateboarding, trampoline, football, air-bag, swimming-pool, video... New in 2011: multisports camp with rafting, canyoning, via ferrata, rock-climbing, adventure trail, MTB, skiing or snowboarding... Those workshops can last a week, a day or 1/2 day. They are open to 12-year olds and more.

Come to GFS camp to ride all day with professional coaches who will teach you every little secret one needs to know about MTB or freestyle ski and snowboard. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, instructors will make help you to improve.
