Bosquier Soccer Summer Camp - NEW in Tignes
In July and August, Tignes offers one week soccer summer camps for young boys from 9 to 16 years old. Managed by Bernard Bosquier, 42 times selected player in the French Team and Manager of the Olympique de Marseille (football team), the summer camps Bosquier which are n°1 in France since 27 years, are for the 1st time in Tignes.
2 options between the 8th of July and the 17th of August : one 100% football, or one 50% ski - 50% football.
Black Shoes - The imperative sports and festive rally of telemark !
The 28th and 29th of April, Tignes celebrate the end of the winter season like every year with his famous week end "Black Shoes" : contemporary costume and lunges in telemarks are the done things. On schedule, bacon soup and oysters during the morning, telemark and apéritif during the afternoon, everything finishing by a prize-giving on the Sunday. Whereas the winter season 2007 is ending the 8th of May, Tignes still offers a heavy height of snow, allowing to his holidaymakers to come down the Grande Motte slopes in scantily dressed : 102 cm at 2100 m - 230 cm at 3300 m.
